LIFE UNIVERSITY’S LIFE CENTER FOR SENIORS OFFERS DISCOUNT MEMBERSHIP TO RETIRED MILITARY VETERANS

Life University
The LIFE Center for Seniors (LCS) at Life University is announcing a 50 percent membership fee for retired military veterans of 55 years of age or older. Regular annual membership fees for the LCS are $40.00, so the discount price for veterans is only $20.00.
The LCS was established in 1995 to provide services to senior citizens in the community who are interested in lifelong learning, self-improvement, health enhancement and connecting with fellow seniors, based on a vitalistic philosophy.
The LCS is more than just a senior center; it is a mutually beneficial environment that includes involvement with Life University students, faculty and staff, as well as outside volunteers and organizations. Run by volunteer members, the LCS offers a variety of programs and classes. Eight-week courses offered in the winter, spring, summer and fall afford older adults the opportunity to learn about and actively engage in fitness, wellness, nutrition, cooking and more.
Membership benefits include:
  • Participation in free guest lecture series
  • Use of Life University state-of-the-art Wellness Center
  • Use of the University’s Library
  • Use of the University’s five-mile walking/running trails
  • Discounted wellness and chiropractic care in the Center for Health and Optimum Performance (C-HOP) on the University’s campus – Free to individuals over the age of 65.
If you are 55 or older (or the spouse of a current member) and interested in improving your health, expanding your horizons and connecting with other mature adults in a learning and thriving community, contact the LIFE Center for Seniors.
