parkernewlogounveilingDALLAS, October 20, 2011 – Parker University introduced its new logo to Parker students, faculty, and staff during a logo unveiling on Monday, October 17. The institution’s recent transition to its new name, Parker University, has intensified its status as a leading chiropractic and holistic educational institution.

A thought leader redefining health care, Parker University’s future expansion of new degree offerings and programs signals Parker’s focused long-term strategy of educating the world’s top health care and wellness practitioners for the changing health care landscape.

Parker created a logo selection committee to assist in reviewing, voting, and deciding on the new logo. The selection committee included a group of 22 Parker students, alumni, board of trustees, faculty, and staff members.

“The new logo is something that we’re very proud of,” said Dr. Fabrizio Mancini, president of Parker University. “Many of you [students] will see when you open your own practices that a logo plays a big part of distinguishing your identity as a brand and who you are, which is why this new logo is so important to all of us as an institution.”

The university’s new tagline, “Igniting Passion. Transforming Lives” was also revealed.

Parker University partnered with The Richards Group, America’s largest independent agency that has over three decades of experience in building brands, to develop a logo that speaks to the institution’s future. Stan Richards, founder of The Richards Group, has grown the agency from a boutique design shop he started in 1955 to a company of multiple divisions, with more than 650 employees, today.

“The Richards Group did an amazing job of interpreting our vision and making it a reality,” said Dr. Mancini.

With just 27 students in its first graduating class in 1985, Parker has grown into a leading chiropractic and wellness institution with 270 employees and more than 5,700 graduates.
