Chiropractic ’06 – All Rave Reviews!

Sponsored by The American Chiropractor magazine and co-sponsored by the World Federation of Chiropractic, this seminar brought technique developers, experts, college authorities and other chiropractic leaders into the Republic of Panama, offering attendees an unsurpassable opportunity to learn about the latest advancements in chiropractic, natural health care and cutting edge technologies.

CHIROPRACTIC ’06’s academic program began on Monday, Feb. 12th, with brief introductions from TAC’s editor, Jaclyn Busch Touzard, and WFC correspondent’s Drs. J. Michael Flynn and Rand Baird, followed by a half hour overview on the history of chiropractic by Palmer’s Dr. Mickey Burt (in place of Palmer President, Dr. Donald Kern, who was unable to attend due to the flu).  Dr. Thomas Bergmann, from Northwestern Chiropractic College, then delivered a talk on the background of chiropractic techniques to better prepare the attendees for evaluating the potential efficacy of the techniques that they’d be exploring during the 3-day symposium ahead.

The rest of the morning and the mornings to come consisted of introductory capsules from the speakers present to familiarize the general assembly with the topic each would be discussing in-depth in a breakout session that afternoon. This unique format fostered camaraderie and mutual respect among the attendees, which permeated the entire symposium.

Attendees Say…

“It was a pleasure to meet such wonderful people spreading the good news about chiropractic.  The topics of the meeting were interesting and the hospitality was second to none.  I only wish I had more than three days to stay.”
Dr. David Tyggum, Guatemala

“My favorite thing about Chiropractic ’06 was the variety of leading edge information presented and available. I would definitely recommend this show to my friends!”
Dr. Terri Hamilton, USA

Social Events

CHIROPRACTIC ’06 drew attendees to the Republic of Panama from all around the world—the US, Canada, South & Central America and even Australia. Social events offered to compliment the academic program were kicked off with a Welcoming Cocktail Party on Sunday evening, by the pool of the host hotel. On Monday evening, a special Appreciation Dinner was held at the Panama Canal Miraflores Locks for all of the speakers and exhibitors, giving them an up-close look at ships passing through the Panama Canal.  And, on the last evening of the 3 day program, a Closing Gala Dinner for all attendees provided entertainment that left everyone dancing, celebrating, and making merry!

Speaker Says…

“In my 34 years of practice and 22 years of teaching, I have been exposed to literally hundreds of seminars and conventions around the world.  With Chiropractic ’06, I can say, with no reservations whatsoever, that this was one of the most educational, inspirational and exciting conferences I have ever attended or been a part of.  Don’t miss Chiropractic ’07; it is an experience you will never forget!”
Dr. George LeBeau, USA
